Political Toon Sketch- TV Ageism Completed

Here is my finished version of the TV Ageism drawing i did earlier. To improve the image i used Photoshop Elements 6.0.

Political Toon Sketch- TV Ageism

In this toon the issue is about how TV these days are Ageist. One example of how this is true is on the show "Strickly Come Dancing" one of the judges Arlene Philips was replaced by Alesha Dixon because of her age. The toon at the moment is not that clear and the text doesnt stand out enough to get the point across, so i shall be editing this toon in Photoshop Elements 6.0 and upload the results at a later time.

Political Toon Sketch- XFactor underaged? (completed

Here is my Political Toon about the XFactor and how people in these days are getting so desperate to become famous that groups are trying to fake their age and get away with it. With this Toon i tried to use a different type of medium instead of just using photoshop, i used pens and pencils for this toon.

Political Toon Sketch- Underaged Drinking (Photoshop)

Here is the completed Underaged Drinking toon i had sketched before, i edited this picture in Photoshop Elements 6.0.

Political Toon Sketch- Underaged Drinking

In this sketch i have focused upon underaged drinking by taking it to the extremes and having a baby with an alcoholic drink. There is not detail added to this sketch as i shall be editing it in Photoshop Elements 6.0 and will upload the results at a later time.

Political Toon Sketch- David Cameron's Tax Payer Expense-Card (Photoshop)

Here is the coloured version of the sketch of David Cameron and the tax payer expenses issue that I drew earlier today.

Political Toon Sketch- David Cameron's Tax Payer Expense-Card

Here is the sketch of the issue of the MPs using the tax payer expenses for ridiculous purposes. At the moment the text is unreadable and the toon doesn't stand out well, so i am going to edit this toon in photoshop and post up the result later.

Political Toon Sketch- Postal Strike, Bad Xmas (Completed)

This is the completed version of the 'Postal Strike, Bad Xmas' sketch some changes have been made to the picture. The Colours, shading, details and outlining was made using Photoshop Elements 6.0

Political Toon Sketch- Postal Strike, Bad Xmas

In this sketch i wanted to show the issue of the postal strike and that it would have a large impact on Christmas. i shall later be editing this image on Photoshop to make the image more visible.

Political Toon Sketch- Camera Heads

In this sketch i thought about who really does control the CCTV? This could involve either the council, government possibly even the MI5. In the end i just drew suits as the bodies to show that 'The men in suits are watching us' this emphasises that we are unaware of who is watching us through surveillance. The size of the cameras once again shows how obvious CCTV really is.

Toon Idea-Collage

This was the first political toon i developed using images and texts from newspapers. It focuses upon the issue of CCTV, the lack of privacy that we get and and how we just accept it. The use of the eyes on the cameras instead of lenses signifies that we can clearly see that they are watching us but we just accept it.

Mind Map

This is my mind map of the ideas i have come up with to help me create a Political Toon. To help me develop and wide range of ideas i have drawn some small pictures around particular subjects of the mind map. Different subjects have been assigned different colours.
